Rainy Day

Fieldwork. Raining hard and heavy around lunch time that lasted for 3 hours. Then raindrops did the magic. They always do.

Moment

In the silence comes a voice

Calm and curious as it seems

Glancing sideways someone goes

Bizarre, yet a heart-string gleams

In the chaos is a soul

A fragile and tender one

Fixing its pieces to be whole

Everything has been said and done

In what’s transitory there is hope

Of perpetual, enduring glee

But toilsome it is to cope

A fleeting, blissful memory

Waiting on answers

Searching for reasons

Praying for possibilities

Quietly.

PLAGIARISM IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED
